Prior to joining the University of Pittsburgh in Fall 2022, Sabrina Streipert was a Britton Postdoctoral Fellow at McMaster University under the supervision of Prof. Gail Wolkowicz from 2020-2022 and a Lecturer at the University of Queensland in Australia from 2017-2019. She received her degree from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Applied Mathematics under the supervision of Curators' Distinguished Prof. Martin Bohner. She is interested applying discrete mathematical models to biology with a specific focus on ecology and disease modeling. She is specifically interested in studying the ecological effects of intrinsic factors and extrinsic factors.
